About Débora Auana Teixeira 

Débora Auana Teixeira is an organizer of the Black Youth Nucleus and is a part of the Education Program at Odara-Instituto da Mulher Negra. She is a 19-year-old student in a pre-university course and has been an activist of Odara-Instituto da Mulher Negra since 2024. She joined the organization through the Ayomide Project at Odara, which has a mission of centering Black girls and adolescents in the fight for the right to education. Moreover, the Ayomide Project believes in a future of dignity and well-being that begins and is based on the lives and autonomy of young Black girls, who will be leaders in the future and are already protagonists in the present.
